When Košice Self–governing Region had published the „Analysis on Current Investment Environment“ in July 2006, many entities from public and private sector raised the question whether this extensive and factual document was also available in English. At that time our reply could only be negative. However, we were working on the English version and are delighted that we can offer this publication on our web page also in English today.
The objective of „Analysis on Current Investment Environment“ is to identify and describe the greatest advantages as well as disadvantages and to analyse the actual state of investment policy in the region. It contains numerous interesting information about foreign investors established within the region, about industrial parks, road and transport infrastructure, human resources and their training and education. It brings information on economic and legislative environment and on numerous other facts attractive for foreign investors just as for Slovak companies, regional development experts, as well as for those interested in the state of the region where they live and work.
